IXL MATHS is a software which is aimed at making mathematics fun to learn.It is appropriate fro children from ages 4-14 years. IXL practice is a new game board which engage students in their math lessons. As they work for hours to uncover new prizes on their game board, they will gain new math skills and confidence along the way.
A solid foundation in the area of mathematics allows children to have a better chance at excelling in this area in the future. It is believed that drill and practice help to enhance skills in area of focus and since mathematics is universal children will definitely benefit from practicing mathematics. Appropriate feedback is given whenever the answers given by the child is incorrect. The correct answer is given and an explanation is given so as to clear up any misunderstandings.
Time taken in a particular practice is shown and the score gained for each correct answer is given immediately. For example; a boy goes to the canteen to buy a soft drink which costs $3.50 will have to know how much change he will be getting from the $10.00 bill he gives to the seller so he would not be robbed.
IXL MATHS is useful and suitable for children because technology have changed since many of us were children and IXL MATHS caters for this change by offering a new fun and exciting way to learn mathematics.
